Definition and Material: Drainage boards are made from raw materials such as high-strength polystyrene (HIPS), high-density polyethylene (HDPE), or polyvinyl chloride (PVC), and are formed by stamping into a porous structure with conical protrusions, reinforcing ribs, or hollow cylinders.

Classification: Drainage boards are available in both roll and sheet forms. Based on application, they can be categorized as those for plaza landscaping and basements, with common specifications including H20 and H25.

Main Functions: Drainage boards feature a concave-convex hollow ribbed structure, enabling rapid and effective drainage of rainwater, reducing or even eliminating hydrostatic pressure on the waterproofing layer, achieving active waterproofing. Simultaneously, they protect structures and waterproofing layers, resist soil acids and alkalis and plant root penetration, and provide some sound insulation, ventilation, and moisture protection.

Applications

Widely used in landscaping projects, such as garage roof greening and roof gardens; municipal engineering projects, such as airports and roadbeds; building construction projects, such as the upper and lower layers of building foundations, and the interior and exterior walls and basements of basements; water conservancy projects, such as reservoirs and water storage tanks; and transportation engineering projects, such as highway and railway subgrades.

Construction points

Before laying, the site must be cleaned to ensure the ground is flat. Outdoor garage roofs and roof gardens require a slope of 2-5‰. During laying, care should be taken to prevent garbage from entering the space in front of the drainage board to ensure unobstructed drainage. After laying, backfill soil or a protective layer should be applied promptly to prevent damage to the drainage board.
